Lily Wright, a student at Bath Middle School, is planning to run the Polar Bear Dip and Dash 5K around the Back Cove in Portland, ending with a quick polar bear dip in the water. The event takes place on Monday, December 31. Lily wants money raised by sponsors of her participation in the event to go to the Michael J Fox Foundation.
Lily has two grandparents with PD, and has done two prior fundraisers for this cause.
